Consistent mood is so much about consistent health habits. Of course when mood and motivation are low these healthy habits are quick to slip and I understand it well. What I will say is when you maintain them long enough to see the difference they make it’s easier to stick with it when life throw you a bone. Don’t take up practices that are gruelling. Swinging from unrealistic exercises goals or starve binge diets can be common with low mood. Sleep problems that persist months into years. Explore reasonable regular eating and movement practices that you can keep up for at least 3 months. Mindfulness is a fantastic technique for managing the stressful circumstances that can trigger low Mood.
